Javier Zacharias is a Film and TV music composer, arranger and orchestrator. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who performs regularly playing saxophone, piano, drums, guitar and flute. Javier is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring. As a student he was awarded the Berklee Entering Student Talent Scholarship, the Berklee Achievement Scholarship and the BMI award given to one student per year in recognition of academic and musical excellence in Film Scoring.
In 2014 he was awarded the “Premio Nuevas Miradas” (Best Original Music), for his work in the TV series Inconsciente Colectivo. He has also written, orchestrated and produced the scores for the TV series El Legado (2014), for the animated miniseries Tierra de Rufianes (2015) and for several TV commercials. In 2017 he was nominated for "Best Score" for his work on Tierra de Rufianes in BA Web Festival as well as the Rio Web Fest. He is currently living in Buenos Aires, writing and producing music for TV and working as a session player. Javier also leads the band Jacinto and hosts Pizzel Podcast with Pedro Fayolle.
